A corporate image is a graphical representation of the identity and personality of an entity. It transmits its values abroad, making it crucial to the perception that citizens and users have about an organization or a company.

Searching for an idea:

The first and fundamental step is to find the IDEA to create a logotype. After that, we must think about “what or who” we want to represent through it. In case of our Mancomunidad we have it clear. We wanted to represent the union of the peoples of our Region, principally those who integrate our Mancomunidad.

We already have the IDEA, however, if we had to make a graphical representation, we should turn it into a SHAPE or IMAGE. We are thinking of different aspects about representing this region (our mountains, the river, the balmy weather, etc.) All those related to the nature.

From then on, it emerges the idea of the Pitera plant (American Agave), a plant that, despite its discretion, can be found along all the Region of Valencia, and above all in our towns. Pitera appears in the orography of all our municipalities, it is a plant that survives in extreme conditions. Despite this, it keeps on being strong.

Symbolically, the Pitera plant can be interpreted in several ways. For all of us, its trunk represents the main road of communication (CV-35 road) with the interior of this Region. Pitera’s ramifications end in panicles of yellow flowers representing the municipalities and inhabitants members.

This plant makes us reflect on how hard is to keep our populations united, how hard is to obtain financial aid from other institutions, and how hard is to improve municipalities’ quality of life. Regardless of all these aspects, the love we feel for our homeland is what make us keep strong as the Pitera.
