SOCIAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT
General Social Services have been provided in this Entity since the beginning, while management began earlier in some villages like Association of Municipalities. In 2002, Social Services started working through the MANCOMUNIDAD LA SERRANÍA, afterwards some City Councils delegated this service to the Mancomunidad. Nowadays, two social workers give the service to some City Councils, which belong to the Mancomunidad, allocated in the following way:

PROGRAMAS:
INTERVENTION DEPARTMENTS: There are several deparments of intervention, that are managed by Social Workers. ACTIVITIES PROGRAM OF “SONA LA DIPU” FOR OUR ELDERLY PEOPLE APPLICATION FOR PLACES IN RESIDENTIAL HOME FOR THE ELDERLY PEOPLE Activities program for the women of the Delegation. MORE PROGRAMS: CHILD AND FAMILY CARE SERVICE (SEAFI) To achieve these aims, it is created a network of professionals working together, among which are the Team of Social Services of the Mancomunidad, the areas of health and educational facilities in the area and initially in charge detection and then the referral will be treated by the SEAFI. The derivation of these cases are always done through the Social Workers in the area. And in full coordination with the Social Welfare Territorial direction for the functioning of the child protection system.
